Ty Hager: Founder/Writer

I'm Ty Hager, founder and head writer/editor/interviewer/janitor at Memoir Lane Publishing. I've spent my entire life telling stories but - for nearly a decade now - I've been helping other people tell their stories. In addition to dozens of professional bios for artists and entrepreneurs, I've co-written/ghostwritten/edited twenty full-length nonfiction books on topics ranging from divorce law to real estate to wealth management to - you guessed it - memoirs.

What I love most about helping people tell their stories isn't the writing but the listening.  And the friendships that are formed as my clients get more and more comfortable sharing their stories. As a long-time radio host who has interviewed hundreds of people from celebrities and songwriters to normal folks like us, I've learned how to listen. And how to ask the questions that get the stories flowing.
