Unlike other memoir-writing or ghostwriting services, we typically dedicate 150 hours or more to your project, ensuring that every detail of your story is captured with care and precision. 1. Extensive Interviews
A trip down Memory Lane shouldn't be a sprint but a leisurely stroll, where each step is taken with care and intention. At Memoir Lane Publishing, we understand that your life’s story deserves to be told with thoughtfulness and detail. Rushing through memories can lead to missed moments and untold stories. By taking our time (up to 20 hours of recorded chats in one-hour blocks), we ensure that every significant event, cherished memory, and personal milestone is captured in its full depth and richness. 
You can even involve friends and family members, allowing them to share their reflections of you. As memories often spark more memories, we can schedule additional interviews throughout the entire writing process to ensure nothing is left out.

2. Professional Writing
Once your initial set of interviews is concluded, we'll begin crafting your beautifully written narrative, maintaining your authentic "voice" throughout. You'll receive a draft of each chapter as it’s completed, allowing you to make corrections, request changes, and (if needed) schedule additional phone chats. Your memoir will be a true reflection of who you are, capturing the milestones, memories, and moments that define your life.

3. Gather Photos
Photos bring your memoir to life, adding a visual dimension to your story. We encourage you to submit up to 50 of your most cherished photographs via email. These images will be carefully integrated into your book, enhancing your narrative and preserving your visual memories.

4. Cover Design and Layout
Once you’ve approved your final manuscript, we’ll work with you and talented cover and layout designers to create a look you’ll love. You'll have final approval, of course, and the cost is included in your fee.

5. Printing/Publishing Your Book
After approving the content, cover, and layout, it's off to the presses! You'll receive 25 complimentary copies of your book, created by skilled printing specialists, in any combination of paperback and hardcover. If you'd like additional copies, you can order them directly from the printer.

Should you wish to make your memoir available to the world, we'll guide you through the simple process of publishing on the Amazon KDP platform, ensuring your story reaches a wider audience and allowing you to receive royalties and order additional copies at reduced "Author Copy" rates.*

*Books printed/published by Amazon will cost less per copy but will also be printed at a somewhat lower quality than those from the printing specialists we use. 

6. Audiobook Memoir
Once your memoir is completed, we'll provide you with an audiobook version, editing and arranging our phone interviews into chapters corresponding to the chapters in your book. Your Audiobook Memoir is included in the cost of our Memoir Package
